I was going to start a new thread and ask this very same question, but I figured I might as well just bump this one back to the top since it seems to have gone unanswered.

I'm specifically looking for a sample contract for basic excavation work.

I know one thing you have to put a clause in there if you hit rock or water for extra charges.
