Trying to get a part number for the lift cylinder seal kit.

The unit is a single mast , single acting cylinder. I could not find a stamped number on the mast, but did locate a cast number on the mast top bracket .

Photograph are attached.
Any details or reference would be appreciated

You really don't need a part number as a kit from Clark or any other supplier probably doesn't exist anymore (and considering the time it sat on the shelf, you wouldn't want it). That said this cylinder originally used leather cups or vee (chevron) packings. If no one has modified it just take it apart and match up the components at Hercules or Allegheny York's web site. if you are unfamiliar with doing this, give them a call and they will help.

What he said. In addition, the seal/wiper in the bolted down head... Look for a number on it before prying out, and if not found remove as carefully as you can to see the other side. It should be an old style metal encased seal with double lips. If ruined, just use two replacement dimension measured stock seals, turn one in for downward sealing and the other on top of it as a wiper.

The barrel of the cylinder should have a part number stamped on it. Probably be 6 numbers and near to one end, top or base.

Find a number on the barrel, contact Nash Forklift Supply in Nicholasville, KY for the innards you need.
