Looks a good little job in hand Merv, dont forget to only use a welder to remove the bearings, is that 1 piece intermediate gears I see? oh and just a thought at this point I always pop out the E-Bar and build up the ends, then check for cracks and fit new rubber blocks to it as they are always worn out, the "Firm" (me by myself) have a few tractors in bits at the moment, I have a D8H with all the back case innards stripped down including the transmission into a heap of nuts and bolts, the top pinions out of the F/Drives with not even an oil pipe left in the case, I also have a LGP D4 in lots of parts F/Drive wise and a few swingers (excavators) looking a bit knackered as chunks of them are in bits, so things are good and still turning a coin, the good earner for me at this moment is Crushers, as I seem to have plenty of them around me that have had a good thrashing and need loads doing to them, plus the fact the owners dont understand how they should be running them, I think I have hit a Klondyke area, even the track chains (D5) seem to break easy as I get lots of link press jobs, I have a link and 5 bottom rollers to stuff in 1 on Tuesday so its onward and upward!
good bit of cribbing Merv. tctractors
