Caterpillar 140G Grader blade tip cylinder, RHS blade up down cylinder doesn’t neutralize after pushing out until Push lever in opposite direction

Hi, any assistance with this would be appreciated.

Caterpillar 140G Grader blade tip cylinder, RHS blade up down cylinder doesn’t neutralize after pushing out until Push lever in opposite direction

This started after a mechanic re-sealed the right side valve bank.

This started after a mechanic re-sealed the right side valve bank.

My bet is that he reassembled the valve bank, or reconnected the lines to it, incorrectly.

Do you have a Parts Manual.? If not you’re probably going to need one sooner rather than later.

Start looking at the last thing done, it's usually a good clue to any failures after repair.

 

[HATCHEQUIP]

Its binding, if the springs are ok sometimes its the way the sections were tightened and torqued sometimes just loosening them and tightening in a more even sequence, you can check this by loosening the bolts with machine off and see if its free.
