Euclid made same type of unit many years ago they were used on various sites especially Dam sites in Australia

Bringing back a year-old thread. I found some more pictures, and from the unit numbers they have at least three of these units! # 610 in the previous photos, and #609 and #611 here.

Anyone know who did these conversions? :eek:

CAT made a prototype of this machine, looked quite good, its in the book "The Caterpillar Cronicals" it was basically a 639D with another 3306 mounted in the bowl driving an auger arrangement to off load into a truck
It looked alot less agricultural than the ones pictured :)
