Wrong priority. Hydraulic system problem should have been properly diagnosed before taking the system apart.

Yes, looks like some knuckle dragger miss stamped the blade on the assembly line.
Keep that in mind when it comes time to replace cutting edges/parts. Otherwise the hydraulic system doesn't care.

Cat Classic is probably Asian like most aftermarket pumps. Asian cartridges are $150-300 each. If the suction assembly is not air tight you will cavitate the new pump and be at the same spot. The vanes bounce on and off the cam ring.

Old Magnet, where is the engine oil pan drain plug(s) located? My helper attempted to tell me that none exist. Is this possible?

Should be a valve on the side of the oil pan near the bottom, no? Will have a hex head, it's like a long plug. Or a plug, Nige beat me to it, lol

Found it. The drain is incorporated into the lower part of the dipstick casting. 9/16" socket removes it; need not thread all the way out; it is a drain valve

Jason ,those H series have two different drain plugs.Yours is the later style which is accessed without removing that giant belly plate.Whilst it's off, check the head as they often get worn causing some fitters not to get it tight.A new plug is cheap insurance if it's ragged.
The older style was right at the underside of the engine and was a big plug with 3/4 inch drive to move it.

And the 2 1/2" steel, 2-piece suction line clamps were changed also (ref pic submitted by Nige). Well, actually, just the inexpensive rubber seals. There was nothing that indicated a suction leak upon disassembly and cleanup, other than an old silver-solder job of the large flange end-2 1/2" tube end that mates to the underside of the hyd pump. The job was completed in less than 5 hours. Sorry, hands were too filthy for pics on disassembly.
