We have constant fire going to the ac compressor whether the switch it turned off or on. Just wondering if it could be a stuck relay and where that relay could be located on an 08 cat d6k? Thanks guys for any info.

Thank you so much! A wiring diagram would help so much. I think we are having some wiring issues any way. The engine was replaced right before we bought the machine and I think we have some things that aren't right.

Got in touch with a cat rep today and they said the ac is supposed to have constant fire and the ground side breaks instead of the positive side. So i have no idea.

Well we finally got it figured out. We replaced everything in the ac system. Which most of it needed to be. Turns out that the problem was that everything was plugged up wrong from where the engine had just been replaced. Also found out that all the points where the harness should have been bolted down that they didn't bother doing that either. But now we are back in business. Thanks for the help guys!
