Hello everyone, been a while since I have posted. What is the best way to repair a broken transmission connector. I seem to have snapped the one on the back of my D5M FTC. Purchased a repair plug from CTL (4w4293) looks like a nightmare to try and solder 17 wires in such a small space. Any advice would be appreciated.

Take as many parts off as need to gain easy access to make a proper repair. Or in that situation (assuming your not a cheap o) a new harnesses) personally I'd be repairing it

4W4293 is an MS3108 connector for 16SWG wires. Very small and fiddly. It might pay you to remove the entire harness and get it to someone who is expert in these MIL-type connectors because they are extremely difficult to work on without miniature soldering equipment..
