I recently acquired a 963 CAT track loader (series 21Z02206) from Arlington, Texas, to use in a marble quarry in Mexico.
Initially, all basic functionalities were tested and appeared to be working fine. However, on the second day of operation at the quarry, the machine failed to run. Upon inspection, we discovered that the synch cut-off valve (9J8553) was broken. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a new replacement part, so we are currently awaiting the arrival of a used replacement.
Our primary concern at the moment is understanding what may have caused the valve to break, in order to avoid the same issue occurring in the future.
We would greatly appreciate any expertise or tips on this matter.
Thank you.
