Yes the suspension is flogged out. Wondering if it can be put back to solid axle being that they were optional.

G..G..G..Granville.........!! Fetch your cloth.
It would probably be cheaper to repair than it would to go for all sorts of different iron to convert the cushion hitch to a solid hitch.
Budget spinal fusion surgery for the operator(s) in your costing............solid hitches are hard on the lower back.

If you have a Serial Number I could look a bit deeper into what you want to do and give some feedback, but I can tell you now that oversize bushes are available for hitches that permit rework without the need to weld up a bore that has been worn oversize.

615s used a cushion front axle, not hitch. Likely the swing arm pivots, lateral link and struts need help. Everything should have been bushed in rubber(haven't looked). If they got metal to metal, more costly repairs.

Thanks fellas the axle suspension has never worked very well. I am owner operator of the machine just sick of all the banging. Will think of something.

Check out the pivot points for wear. Then check the strut nitrogen pressures. The struts are likely to have a certain amount of oil in them before the nitrogen is added. My guess if they are banging, your low on charge pressure.
