Now that you mention that, if it doesn't take off with the air, I'd be giving it some juice to rev it a few times after running for a few hours. A few revs from a small shot of starting fluid, propane, or wd40 aren't going to hurt anything at this point.

Brought it up to temperature and gave it a few shots of starting fluid a couple of times. Revs up for two or three seconds, then back to just low-medium idle.

Ran about a quart of 50/50 ATF to Diesel through the injection pump inlet and the hand throttle set to maximum. Let it run until the bottle ran out.

Note: It revved up pretty significantly at the end as it lost fuel-prime.
