Cat 3306C rebuild questions

I have a Pete with a3306 C motor and I have the motor stripped down ready to do a in chassi rebuild what is the easiest way to remove the liners? Thanks in advance for any and all help John

The easiest way is to push the Pistons out and then use a liner puller to pull the liner. If you don't have one you can use a small hydraulic jack and some blocking to push them out from the bottom. If you do it this way I would recommend chaining the axle to the frame so you you don't get the truck lifting up as much.
