Cat 323 code clearing or diag

Hi our cat 323 excavator has a code 2142-3 straight travel pedal position sensor voltage above normal. The straight pedal does not function. Is there a way to diagnose this without a computer, and or is it possible to clear the code without a computer plugged in?

Post a Serial Number please so I can identify the correct troubleshooting procedure for the 2142-3. It will also identify the appropriate electrical schematic that you will also need.
If you can t-shoot it and fix the (probably wiring) issue that is causing the Code it should disappear.
