Hello, does anyone have experience owning/operating a Caterpillar 322Bl excavator?
What are its main features or advantages it has comparing to other excavators such a 320Bl ?

one of those came to my machinery garage and deciding if stay with it or resell it.

I have a great deal of admiration for the 322b machines, as I had 4 here at one time. Took one all the way to 23k ish hours.
Aside from the stupid auxiliary hydraulic controller (not on all machines), and the reusable hose ends, they were bulletproof and had the lowest maintenance costs of every machine here.
No experience with a 320B, but every 320C and D here cracked the boom.

Thanks for sharing your experience! What type of hard work did your 322B's do before?

Sewer line excavation for municipal sized projects. Run a 24", 36" and 48" bucket, frost tooth (ripper), 9' tilting grading bucket, 5k lb rated npk hammer, and a npk C8B compactor.
