Need advice on adapters for the air cleaner housing or tubes.

Background:

Swapping out motors https://www.heavyequipmentforums.co...0-Single-Axle-Dump-Truck-w-Allison-MT653-Auto

Donor is Ford. Bad motor is IH

Ford has a threaded rod center post like passenger cars and trucks, while the IH has a bolt down flange with a neck to connect to.

The inlet manifolds appear to be the same otherwise.

Question/thoughts:

Options I am considering:

Using the IH bolt-down somehow secured by the center bolt. This would save having to change out the manifold and possibly creating other work and expense.

Or- just change the manifold and new gaskets.

Any thoughts would be welcomed.
