I have a 259D Skidsteer and the engine stopped running while in use and Code 41-4 appears on the screen. I tried to find the problem and located the fuse p[anel behind the cab and a 20 Amp fuse was blown. I replaced it and it blew it to. Could there be a shorted wire or bad connection?

Two things, serial number for machine and fuse description or fuse number for the blown fuse. Shouldn’t be terribly difficult to run down the problem with that information and a wiring schematic.

Here's the troubleshooting for 41-4. If a complete electrical schematic would help you're welcome to one.

Here's also something regarding fuses to help you identify exactly which function(s) the blown fuse is serving.

I take it you don't have an Operation & Maintenance Manual either.? That's where the article about the fuses came from.
If you maintain the machine yourself it's a very good investment.
One recommendation is not to skimp on changing the fully synthetic 85W/140 oil in the drive motors every 500 hours. New drive motors are now priced at over $8k each.

Here's a brand new OEM manual on CD - 259D O&MM
