In right side drive motor started making noise. Took it out, and to mechanics. Took apart and rebuilding now it. One guy recomends to remove other drive motor and tandem pump and inspect ir for a wear, other says dont do it. How is better to do? Have only a bit less power on that side at idle rpm, everything else was good.

DEPENDS ON THE FAILURE OF THE MOTOR. I BLEIVE THEESE MOTORS HAVE PLASTIC ROLLER RACES AND FAIL QUITE OFTEN MOSTLY ON SOLID TIRE APPLICATIONS USED IN RECYLCING OPERATIONS. PROBLEM IF YOU REBUILD ONE SIDE AND NOT THE OTHER IS WHEN YOU INSTALL UNLESS YOU HAVE ACESS TO CAT ET SYSTEM CAUSE YOU HAVE TO CALIBRATE THE MOTOR FLOW FROM THE HYSTAT PUMP. OTHER WISE YOUR MACHINE WILL FAVOR THE NEW REBUILT SIDE SONCE SAMLE HYD FLOW TO A OLD MOTOR VERSUS REBUILT MOTOR = NEW ONE WILL TURN FIRST.
