case 570 Diode replacement

I had at least one diode chewed off my 570 lxt series 2 by rats and I need to replace it. L71879 is available from Case and other suppliers, but it looks like it is only the diode part, not the part that connects to the wires. Does anyone have experience replacing the whole thing? As far as I can tell there are three wires that need to go into this particular diode and I am not sure how that would be wired with the replacement from Case.
