I have recently purchased a case 450b track loader. In the operators manual it says the hi/low shifter by your left heel is in low with the shifter pulled back, and in hi with the shifter pushed forward. It is a little hard to tell but I definately feel like with the shifter forward the machine goes slower and has more power, making me think the operators manual is wrong. Is there anyone that can confirm what position of the shift lever is hi/lo?
