I found a Case 450 dozer and I am trying to figure out what year it is. The serial number is gone from the blade, and it has had a different diesel engine put in. The only number I found was 148 and underneath it was 2680507. There is no provision for a ROPS or seat belts which kind of makes me think it is early 1969? If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

I have a reference guide for Case 450 and it starts with SN 3027001 at year 1965. So either you have wrong SN or dozer is much older than that yet? I'm not familiar with when they began so....
3027001 to 3028500 = 1965
3028501 to 3032300 = 1966
3032301 to 3036800 = 1967
