Case 450 series 3

Hello,
This is my first post and hoping to have a question answered. I just bought a 2008 case 450ct series 3. It's a great machine and replaced my case 85xt. My question is to other owners of the 450, do you notice side to side movement in the lift arm when they are raised? Could the bushings be worn with only 700 hrs. My 85xt has no side movement with over 4000hrs.

Is this normal for the case 450 lift arms?

Yes the loader frame on the 90 XT and the 450 loaders have alot more side movement than the 85/95 XTs and the 445 and 465 loaders. The 85XT has a box style loader frame which has very little side flex. The 450 has a flat loader frame which flexes side to side a lot due to the design of the loader frame.

That is normal on a 450. That machine is a different loader arm design than did your 85XT. It does not effect the function of the machine. The 450 is an animal, excellent HD skid steer.

Kind of figured it was because of the design of the lift arms.

It's so much more stable then my 85xt and pushes and grades better.
