case 450 roller question

Those are not pressed on. When new they slide on and a snap ring is placed at the end of the shaft. Does your's have a snap ring. After 50 or so years the collar is usually stuck on. You should be able to take a hammer and tap (hit) on it until it comes loose. The correct way to take them off is to pull them off. With one bolt hole broken it will be more difficult. Hold the collar and press on the shaft by pushing it out of the collar.

It's going to be cheaper to buy an new roller then fix that one. Looks like it's a Berco roller and you'll probably never find a collar for it.

I have a few extra lying around i figured it may be easier to swap the broken end vs weld, maybe not Going to look for a clip later when home

If you have extra, that one is shot anyway. Carefully shave it off with a torch. Press another onn.

You have to push it inward far enough to reveal the lock ring, pop that out and then remove the cap. Do it standing straight up, add a little gear oil while you're at it.
