Hey guys
Been looking at a machine to buy, and it has a missing serial # plate, it’s been part of a theft recovery, and the bloke has all the paperwork etc. and can get a new plate made.
He’s got all the paperwork with serial #s etc etc.

But I’m wanting to find out. On the Case 40xt, is the serial # stamped somewhere else on the body of the machine? Surely it has to be not just on the plate that can be and has been removed.

Where could I check on this machine that the serial # on the paperwork matches one stamped on the actual piece of machinery?

The model is a Case 40xt 2004 model.

Thanks all
