Thank you so much for responding with such helpful information!
I'm sure a machine upgrade would be the best and most desirable solution. Unfortunately, finances will not allow.
The attachments I have are:
1) Case back hoe
2) Bradco trencher
3) Alitec stump grinder
And, I would like to get an auger in the future.
Currently, the only attachment that requires high flow is the stump grinder.
So I have to replace all the hydraulic lines?
There is a RED button on the right controller. Is it possible the machine already has high flow?
No that red button is the horn. The high flow will be toggle with a guard on it at the top of the control handle opps. the horn.
The high flow kit will have large connectors. Your stump grinder if you have been running it on low flow will need the larger connections. The hoses themselves may or may not need to be replaced depending on what Alitec put on the attachment. If the stump grinder is a high flow attachment than the hoses should be the correct size from the factory, assuming they have not been replaced with smaller hoses.
You may have already done this, but I would reconfirm that the alitec grinder is a high flow attachment. They make several models. I would perhaps make a call to Alitec tell them your serial number and the machine you have and make sure they are compatible. You can cause problems with the attachment and or the skid steer if the two items don't play well together.
Your trencher may also be able to run on the high flow. Considering that the 1845C is lower on high flow you may be able to use it even though it is a low flow trencher. Again a call to the attachment OEM would answer your questions for certain. Good luck.
