bobcat e50 will it run a mower???

I want to get a mower for my bobcat e50 but am confused if i got the right kind of hydraulics to run one. I have 2 sets on the boom one larger than the other im guessing one must be a standard flow and one must be a high flow is this correct? I dont have the return to tank valve is this needed to run a mower?

Typically if you have two sets, one is for a dedicated thumb and the other is for other aux functions. That is really helpful. Since you can keep your pressure for your thumb correct, but turn up the psi on the aux. so that it will function better on attachments, especially mowers. I don't know BC, but I assume you can set flows for the different aux lines. You may also have some really small lines that run the quick coupler. Depending on the mower, you may not need the return to tank line.

I've got an E50, and use a 42" Rut Mfg. Brush Cutter(Tree Slayer model). I run it at full flow which is 20gpm, I believe. It does have a case drain but it's not required.. It is supposed to be run in "Hammer Mode".

I am not sure if this helps you decide on a mower, but I have a deere 35d with standard hydraulics and remote. I run a VMC 42" mowing head (like a really heavy duty bush hog) and it does a great job for its size. Not a single issue for stuff up to 3-4". I have cut 6" stuff if you go slow. I bought it lightly used from a fellow doing lot clearing that was going to a bigger machine and he was happy with it. I just use it around the farm and it suits my needs well. Seems like VMC has good support too. Might be worth a look.

thanks for the info everyone i ended up going with a 42 inch virnig brush cutter hope it works out i got lots of work for it
