These are 6 stainless steel tanks, manufactured in Germany, and shipped to Hamilton, they are not very heavy, but each has a capacity of 1.4 million litres of BEER!!!!

This move is for the molson's brewery in Toronto, it was originally scheduled for one week, but will end up taking 2.

Challenger trucking has an employee following along just to post twitter updates, that would be a nice job

I read quite a few post's in one of the links. Makes me wonder what challenger thought they were going to haul with?
Must have been low bidder with plans to sub the haul out.
What do you local folks say? All I ever seen Challenger with is vans.
Thanx for the pics thou. muzy

apparently they tried to complete this move about 4 times, but kept calling it off. Below is a picture of i think how they intended to move them, but they must have had some issues because in mid December, they called in Mammoet to use what looks like their multi axle trailers. the loads are not all that heavy, so you'll see in some photos, the trailers that have axles the full length have the centre axles raised.

Challenger has a specialty transport division too, i think they are just getting into heavy haul, but they have had a flatbed div. for a number of years.
