I have seen track loaders/skid steers sitting at a Kioti dealer near me, and then shortly afterwards I began seeing videos pop on YouTube and facebook, well after some investigation I find out that it is new venture by Hyundai/ Kioti, which I didn’t realize are owned by the same company, now I don’t know much about Kioti, the dealers for them have been in my area (north Alabama) for years but just what I hear about them is about 50/50 good bad…………..but Hyundai on the other hand seems to have a really good track record with there other Construction Equipment, although not in my area.

The specs on the loader don’t seem bad, the one thing I noticed is the hinge pin max hight is in up there like 130”, which would be really nice for loading trucks, the machine seems well laid out, hoses are routed clean and neat and are wrapped, cab tilts easily and tilts to 90* the access to the hydraulics seems really good, engine compartment looks decent, radiator swings out, cooling fan for the condenser on top swings up, the cab is big, and basics, just a clean looking monitor, and manual rocker switches for everything else, knobs work the climate control, the only thing that is really stupid is where they put the washer fluid reservoir, down under the arm rest where you can’t get to it.
They have a “better”warranty than any other manufacturer at 3 years 3000 hrs.

I have seen mostly positive reviews, Dirtperfect on YouTube kept one for about 100hrs and had good things to say, but I did see 2 shorts where people had problems with them, and claimed that Kioti did not want to address them,…………..so I’m curious what do y’all think? Anyone have any experience with them yet?

I have one it is in the shop for the 3 time for wiring, my dealer is working with Kioti to try to get them to replace machine. I had an 18 year old Tak and wanted a cabbed unit. The one I bought was a demo unit with 300 hours had for 5 weeks in the shop for 4 of them with that said. They have given me a demo unit with 90 hours and this Kioti will do anything my Tak could do, hydraulics are a little jerky at times compared to the Tak, as far as the wiper reservoir being under the arm rest was no big deal to me I will just use a funnel to ad fluid. I’m suppose to find out Monday or Tuesday about what they plan on doing with my current on, I would like it swapped out not sure what they will do but I will post and let you know.

Yes please post here and let me know, I like the specs on the machine, and I can buy one for 20k less than a bobcat or tak, every body has a bum machine once in a while, it’s what they do about it that counts.

I have seen 2 complaints about them, one is the aux hydraulics mess with the boom control, and the other is that the machine is hard to grade with because lift will not go down far enough to get the bucket flat, can you comment on any of this?

I have not put a bucket on yet, I like the Tak float button which this one does not have you have to push right joystick forward all the way. $20k and better financing options is why I got one.

I run a tree reaper and a root grapple
Does the machine function well when you are cutting/grappling?
I have talked to a Kioti owner and he said it will not boom up and close the grapple at the same time? That you have to work it back and forth from one function to the other?

Do you plan on putting a bucket on and grading any dirt anytime soon?

Any other comparisons to the tak? Things it’s does better or worse?

I don’t have a bucket but I will see if dealer will let me use one,I think the hydraulics are touchy with the brush cutter hooked up. I pretty new to this machine but I will answer your questions the best I can , I use it for personal use/farm. I don’t notice a difference between the Tak and the Kioti for what I do. Would I buy again that just depends on what Kioti does about the issues I’m having. A warranty is only as good as the company that stands behind it.

Have you checked to see if your dealer has a demo unit for you to use? I’m in Tx and dealer by me has one or two demo units

Update a week later parts still not released from Kioti and no support from Kioti either at this point I’m at a lose for the lack of support for a company that is trying to break in to the CTL market.

Yea, if this is how they are going to support their new machine, they will not be around long, unless they sell them so cheap that guys will buy them simply due to the price.

I got because of warranty and finance options, other than that I would have gotten a TL10 they are about the same price for cabbed units. Tak dealer quoted me 73k
I needed longer financing than 48 months since it’s not for my employment, just personal/farm use. Should have keep my TL140 20 years old but never a problem.

I looked at a TL750 at the Southern Farm show last week and wasn't super impressed. The fit and finish is not equal to Kubota or Takeuchi, everything in the cab had a real cheap feel. Maybe a 'decent' machine, but I personally wouldn't be willing to take a gamble on a new machine/model and new to the game manufacturer.

Kioti finally decided to swap the machine out! My dealer in Terrell Tx ( four brothers)was great in fighting for them to do the right thing. Dealer offered to buy it back if Kioti did not step up and do the right thing. Four brothers really went above and beyond to make sure it got exchanged and I was treated like a true customer. They are a stand up dealership.

Four Brothers is a good bunch of folks. I used to have dealings with them back in the early 2000's. Glade you have gotten everything worked out.

Retired.....but still screwing around!
So I wonder if Four brothers absorbed it (took it up the A--) or if Kioti took responsibility?
