Looking at purchasing a tilt bucket for the 6 ton mini excavator a Mongo 50 inch ditching bucket.
I am wondering what contractors experience has been with these tilt buckets are they useful or another fad.
If you have one what, how has it made a difference in your operation. Would you purchase another one? No one in my area has one, so I am wondering.

Tilting buckets or even better a tilt hitch are great things on small excavators. I ran a EX 100 with an offset boom and a Powertilt hitch, that machine worked every day of the week, fantastic for doing detailed excavation. If you go that way don't go burning timber with them, the extra heat kills the seals.

Yea they are pretty awesome. There are just some jobs that the bucket just makes so much easier.
