I need some help in finding the best way to dry a material. We are trying to not use a sand dryer as they require a bag house and we don't want to go that route. Also we have looked into sand heaters and also a microwaving system, does anyone know any other way. The material we are looking to dry is -1/4", it will roughly only be 1,000-2,000 ton a year that needs to be dried.

Wouldn't stacking your sand in long ''berm looking piles'',sort of like in a composting operation get the job done out in the air and sun?Tarps when rain is predicted?

Wouldn't be effective enough, for the materials application it has a very very low percentage moisture.
