As I found out later on Galion blades have no operating hydraulic pressure until an implement control is activated. At that time the compensator valve reads the signal and tells the pump to make pressure. I have never in 50 years of wrenching on heavy iron came across a more complex system as this. As it was stated it came on suddenly the compensator valve had swallowed a small BB size steel ball at some time in its life the sudden stop had dislodged the ball and it ended up in the spool and locked it closed in the no pressure position. Hence no hydraulics.
