Reckon its where the oil outlet valve is? On bottom side underneath?

Also, the oil pressure lime that runs to the gauge.... located on back of the block?

Appreciate it nige. Was missing that line completely and had nothing to trace. Where'd you pull that up at? Looked everywhere In my service manual and couldn't find that. Love the 73 page thread of the 951c and have read thru most of it.

Parts Manual. With a machine that old you really should have one and not have to depend on dealer parts guys to be able to find Part Numbers for you.

The Cat Publication reference for 86J machines up to 1660, which includes yours, is UE070124. Try searching for one in the usual internet marketplaces.

Ahhhh, whole database full. Perks of the job. I have one, must be missing that page. Didn't think a book would be $500 that's merely impressive.
