The plate on the side of the machine is missing. Is there another location to find the serial number? Sometimes it is a necessity.:Banghead

sometimes you may be able to find the SN stamped or etched into the front of the chaincase, above the oil level pipe plug.

only other option would be having a dealer could retrieve it with service software
