Have a 644H trans apart. Low forward and reverse packs are bad. Can't get them apart plates and disks got so hot. Any place that I can find some used parts for this trans? Trying to save a little$.

Thanks

I would try the deere reman shop. however, what year is it? Maybe a nice bone yard that had H/E in its inventory? That old 644 is a mainstay for alot of different shops in the south use this machine. Might try googling shops in the south for this.

All turned out well, Deere wanted $21,000 for reman trans. Rebuilt it in our shop, have a little under $16,000 parts and labor R and R included. So saved them a little and made a little. Deere was quickest place to get parts, ZF had to ship from Germany.
