Hi

I am repairing a 1973 580 B torque tube shuttle pump. I have the top plate off on a bench and when the new (used) pump is mounted there is a noticeable wobble in the drive gear that matches to the torque converter. A indicator shows .005 run-out on the hub of the gear. The wobble on the face is .020 measured near the teeth.
Does anyone know if this is within tolerance for this gear train?
Apparently the shaft on this pump must be bent and that is what is causing this wobble.

Thanks
Jim

Well no one I could find locally would put their name on this one so after some head scratching the pump was installed and the pressure looks good.
