Its really something the different ideals early vehicle and tractor manufacturers had before things got kind of standardized .

Liked those years because the dash was basic, zero extra unwanted stuff with a glove box
that when opened, it was just a cover, stuff stayed didn't fall out. Plus that truck above came factory
with three gas tanks.

My buddy had a '76 half ton 4x4, and a '74 3/4 ton. Both with the 318, and the 203.
The 205 is a far superior transfer case.
My Son in Law has a'78 Chebby with a 203 converted to part time. Top end didn't oil because the chain wasn't spinning. Wore it plumb out, it did...

75 was the first year for 203, it was heavy also and because of that responsible for cracking
the bells on TH350/TH400's. Just possibly the worst T-case ever.

Truck shop you need to own that unit and do it justice.
I don't know about justice necessarily, although those early 70 Power Wagons are getting tough
to find. Most have been stump jumped to death, are so cobbled haywired only worth scrap. Ones
with big blocks are really scarious plus extra thrashed in many cases. Dodge stopped the big block
option in 1978 because the B/RB engines were being laid to rest with only option as the 360.
In order to install a B/RB it needs to have the smaller diameter dual vacuum chamber brake booster
for valve cover room, and I happen to have one of those in new condition, plus that item is getting
tough to find, other than that most everything is available.

Worlds Largest Model A Museum

The Model A exhibit is one of my favorite parts of the Gilmore Car Museum. Some of my favorite parts were all of the conversion kits made to turn your Model A into something else: tractor, airplane, air compressor, etc. All do it yourself kits you could buy through a catalog and have mailed to you.

Gilmore's is about 15 minutes from my house. They host a weekly Wednesday night drive in, Specialty events on Saturdays during the summer, a concert series in the summer and even do a tour of lights before Christmas. That's also where our schools Cross Country track is located for their home meets; my son ran there last fall.
