Looking for a 36"ish root rake for my Kubota KX-040 with standard quick change. One that works with the thumb is a must. I'm in Oklahoma, I would like to find one fabricated close or by a reputable shop.

Would a 48" wide 8 tooth be to much? I have a lot of sumac, honey locust and other rooting items I want to clear. This thing has a ton of power, I just wonder it 4ft might be too much.

The weight has a lot to do with it. If you are at full reach over the side of the machine it can lead to instability if the rake is too large (Heavy) and you are grabbing too much.
