Our 318d goes into derate a few seconds after starting and blows some white smoke and feels like a miss . Also has codes for hydraulics..523694.12..523693.04..523694.04. I feel is a second problem. Any help appreciated..ted

Does the the white smoke stink of raw fuel? Smell sweet like antifreeze? Unfortunately you will need diagnostic software to accurately troubleshoot that one. Bad injector? Bad Electronic Unit Pump? Push rod bent? Compression issue? So many questions, so little time
