Hey all, so this cat trans works great until it gets to operating temp, then it will not move unless you put it in 3rd and force it. Then you'll hear like a tick and then all gears are back working. Parking brake isn't stuck because it'll roll while trying to get trans to work. Also the backup buzzer doesn't shut off unless you turn off battery kill. Not sure if that has something to do with it. Been doing this for a while so I did a trans service on it and still same, but at least it has clean fluid. lol Thanks in advance.

G..G..G..Granville.........!! Fetch your cloth.
Serial Number.? It makes it easier to find info.
Out of interest what oil did you put in the transnmission.?
Backup alarm not shutting off could be pointing to an electrical/electronic issue which may or may not affect gear selection because IIRC it is controlled from the electronic transmission control.

TBM00966. It was the fluid the dealer told me it requires. Label didn't have any info just says 30. The fluid that came out was nasty and black. I even installed a new shift lever just in case that was the issue, but does same thing.

The old fluid condition doesn’t sound good.
Can you post a photo of the transmission oil container.? It's supposed to be Cat MTO.
Did you change the transmission filter at the same time.?

EDIT: Check your messages.
