2006 CAT242B - Chain Case Leak Around Drive Motor

I had the exact same leak on a Cat 236B Skid Steer that was dripping on the floor continually. After cleaning the bottom for 4 hours I tightened the hydraulic return manifold hose clamps and yes the clamps were all loose. They are in a nasty spot and I was glad I did not have to change that 2 inch soft hose out either. Glad you found out the same thing as I did. Have had to change a few hoses going down to the bottom beside that manifold and they are very hard to get at with long arms and good crowfoots. I protected a couple of the new hoses with rubber around the spots that were wearing out. Take care.
