A family member just bought a 1995 Cat 315 excavator for his hobby farm. Its
in decent shape for its age. The undercarriage must have been done not long ago and
all the boom pins are in good condition and the buckets have lots of life in them it has just
over 11000 hours on it. Its a model # 315L serial # 6YM00473.
The instrument panel is dead none of the gauges illuminate or work and there is a switch for slow and fast with a turtle and Rabbit on it. I suspect it is stuck in slow mode as
the functions are slow but it has lots of digging power.
Does anyone here have access to diagrams for the instruments and the mode system?
