I have a old 3306 injection pump that I need to remove to have serviced. Any book on timing before removing the pump? Special tools needed?

Serial number of engine: 64Z03140

Pin time the engine at #1TDC by using a 3/8” bolt into the flywheel housing. There is a pipe plug on the flywheel housing and a hole in the flywheel. Rotate the engine by hand in the normal direction. Pull the valve cover and wait for the intake valve on #1 to close. The pin should engage the flywheel. To verify TDC of the compression stroke.

Pin time the pump with a six victor forty one eighty six special pin.

Thats all there is to it. Easy Peazy.
