1985 544d deere shift cable

Has anyone ever changed a shift cable on a 544d wheel loader-any advice would be appreciated.

just did a 444C, big pain. No room to work. Had to pull steel loader hyd lines going to center pivot for room to saw the pin that was stuck in yoke. Owner saw what a bitch so understands problems. will be a big check anyway!
