    Thanks for the info. Was considering 5W40 but will see whats is available from my oil dealer. My bobcat sits in a warm shop when not being used so not to worried about cold starts but the lighter oil will be better for working in the cold.

    Yes I have thought of that. The hose that leads from engine throu rads gets hot but exit hose is still cold. I have thought of a collapsed exit hose. But here is something that happened today. Its -13c and Im plowing snow. The heat gauge gets into red after 3/4 of an hour so I stop to let cool...

    Got a 2000 863 bobcat that won’t start. Took fuel solenoid out thinking that the problem as there seems no fuel to injectors. Solenoid works when I hook to a battery. Does solenoid activate when u turn key to glow plug position or when u turn key to start position?
