    PC35 Hydro safety valve

Hey John, my apologies sir. I did create two threads, I created the one in the one I believed to be in the right forum and then I saw compact. I was unsure of how to delete my previous one. Again, my apologies

    PC35 Safety Valve

Thank you for your insight. I would also mention that it appears that the boom is the only one drifting however that could be just cause its the most noticeable. It also does not hold pressure once the engine is off ... you can hear hydro returning back to the tank. When I first purchased the...

    PC35 Safety Valve

Thank you for this. Next question ... looking at this parts diagram it appears to be a separate part which is fine. But when looking for that part the only thing that comes up is the relief valve assembly which does not include this component that has the failed o-ring. Another question ... if...

    PC35 Safety Valve

I appreciate the response but looking at the cut away for this valve (E-E) it shows the main relief valve and the safety valve as two different items ... I am sure they work in tandem somehow.

    PC35 Hydro safety valve

Morning all, looking at the drawings of this machine it looks like it is called the safety valve. There is pretty much no info I have been able to find. Whenever I type something in I get a main pressure relief valve which is not the same thing from my understanding. I am curious what this valve...

    PC 35 Internal Hydro Leak

Good afternoon all, I am having an issue with my Komatsu PC 35R-8 ... when it starts there is a hissing sound in the valve block body. This sound is there with or without the safety lever being engaged. I used an IR camera and it appears the top and bottom of the block are heating up rather...

    Hydraulic loss of power

Doing some more reading I am thinking maybe the LS valve may have some containments in there causing it to not fully seat/unseat allowing full main pump pressure.

    Hydraulic loss of power

Finally getting back to looking through manuals on this machine. According to my IR images it appears that hose 1 and hose 2 are the ones that are getting warm quickest. Also the hissing continues until a work motion is operated, the bucket, arm, travel motors etc. Not sure if that helps but...

    Hydraulic loss of power

I was told by previous owner that the only oil they ever used was ISO 32, full transparency I'm an idiot and was looking for ISO 32 oil like a brand ... had to call him back ... as everyone is probably already aware on this site but that is just a rating. According the hyspin data sheet it is...

    Hydraulic loss of power

Fan belt for sure could be replaced its worn and it does seem to have a lot of deflection. Foam pieces appear to be in place, I have not noticed the engine bogging down at all, strictly just a loss in hydro power. I have replaced the fuel filter. The fuel pre cleaner i have not though

    Hydraulic loss of power

Hey John, the hour meter does work. The person who had it before me used it very rarely as they own a construction company and a lot of different pieces of equipment this was more or less used as his personal mini that he used around his own property. Only gauges on this are fuel and coolant...

    Hydraulic loss of power

Morning all, I have Komatsu PC35R-8 Serial #F21286. The machine has 1100 hours on it, had no issues when I purchased it approx 3 months ago. I does have one leaking cylinder but not critical to operation and not a significant loss. Recently I seam to lose power after the machine is on and hydro...

    General Maintenance Questions

Morning everyone ... question is in regards to a mini ex I purchased. Model PC35R-8, Serial # F21286 I purchased the operation manual. I am a little confused as all the other machines I have, "old equipment" calls for just generic hydro oil. This is calling for SAE10W ... the company I bought...

    MF50A oil leak

Well shoot, you think i should just jam a screw up there as well? or i searched your first suggestion on google and found on yesterdaystractors that they actually had a seal that was in place there and when oil was leaking out it was to warn you that the seal was bad. I haven't been able to find...

    MF50A oil leak

Hey Delmer, yes the tach works great. I will go back and see if I can see an O-Ring, I sure didn't see one the other day. I really thought that, that tiny hole may of had threads in it and a small bolt had fallen out, but it is super smooth. I thought maybe an overpressure relief?
