    Hello I have another question for anybody that can answer it. I am looking at a 1972 MF 50A Backhoe with the Perkins 3.3 Diesel. Will the oil pan come off without breaking the engine apart. I think it will, but need to know before I buy it. Any help is always greatly appreciated.

    Massey Ferguson rear main seal replacement

    Is it possible to replace the 2 piece rope rear main engine seal (Perkins)without breaking the tractor apart. I was told it is a major job to do. I was wondering if there is any way of removing the oil pan and getting at it where it is a 2 piece unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
