CASE 850C Track Loader(Who owns or runs one?)

I have an 1985 Case 850B Track Loader. Works like a charm. Very very simple machine. Plate on the machine shows about 21k lbs. Master Cylinder is same as off older Chevy trucks (1950s). You do NOT use hydraulic fluid, it's just brake fluid. They don't have steering clutches and brake pedal...

    1969 6x4 IH Loadstar

I had a 1968 Loadstar dump truck with single axle. If it was not for the 2 speed rear end, it drove just like a normal car. The shifter was smooth as silk but after putting brand new master cylinder and wheel cylinders and still not braking right I got rid of it. Wish I kept it though. Lesson...

    1969 6x4 IH Loadstar

Thanks Mitch. Not sure, seller says it's 6x6 but I could only find 6x4s on the internet. I believe it was government owned. Will confirm this weekend. Any close gestimate at top speed? 50-65 mph? If it has air brakes I may go for it.

    WTB: 17.5 tubeless/hubless rims

I totally lucked out last weekend when I went to purchase a used 11R22.5 tire. While looking around I scored 2x 10.00-15 tires and 3x Demountable 17.5 Rims. I paid $125 for ALL the items. I just need to locate another demountable rim and some used 17.5 tires. Another guy close to my house is...

John Deere 410 rear axle replacement

After closing up everything how did you bleed your brakes? I still have issues with mine, I have no brakes on the side of the axle I took off but the opposite side has good brakes.

    WTB: 17.5 tubeless/hubless rims

Currently I have 900R15 (radial) tires on one side and 900-15LT (bias) on the other side. I blew up one of the bias tire and I can't get the same tire size locally although the closest available size is 10-15 in bias but its $150 a pop (used). The 17.5s are readily available (in stock) at most...

John Deere 310B - Rear Axle Housing Problem

My planetary gear was more damaged than yours. Each of the 3 gears were broken in pieces with the largest piece being the size of 1/3 of a gear. IIRC it costed about $1000 for used/new parts to rebuilt the planetary gear assembly, shaft and new ring gear. Now my 1977 is running like a champ.

    WTB: 17.5 tubeless/hubless rims

Hi, I'm looking to update my lowboy trailer with 17.5 rims/tires. The best price I can find online is around $150 plus shipping. If you have a cheaper price for used or new rims please let me know. I am in Birmingham, Al but I don't mind picking these up within 200 miles distance.

    JD 310B: broken axle?

Another quick update. After some torch work, grinding and cutting I was finally able to make my own gear ring puller and the ring gear came out easily (if someone want to borrow it just drop me a line). Apparently JD makes the ring gear with only 3 half moon holes. At the factory they drilled 3...

    JD 310B: broken axle?

Wow, I can't believe its been 2 years since I posted this thread. Just a quick update, I got in touch with a JD mechanic. I already had the wheel off and the battery removed. It took him about 3 hours to remove the housing. The carrier assembly was completely shattered including the drive shaft...
