    liebheer excavators in north america

CD, I'm sorry you did'nt have such a good experience when you visited Colmar and there could be any manner of reasons for this. Liebherr certainly doesn't operate a 'closed door policy' but for obvious reasons we can't just let people wander up to the factory gates for a tour as and when they...

Well judging by the vid in the OPs post looks like they've seen us at it and fancy a bit of dancing over there now :) BTB

    Dancing excavators

I just thought I'd share what we got up to at county shows, if no one likes it they don't have to read or watch it, simple ;) But I expect he wore JCB underpants anyway :p BTB

    Dancing excavators

The JCB display team over here in the UK have got it down to a fine art and go all over the world: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksXQazLzVmY&feature=related As well as JCB themselves other companies like HE Services and JC Balls also have their own display teams that perform at various...

    farm dozer?

Just a suggestion but have you considered a crawler loader? Would it not be better suited for your type of situation? A good used 953 or 963 I should think would be alot more versitile as a farm dozer/loader. BTB

    very big excavators

Knew it was a few years ago, found an article from 2005 on the SL3500D: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0RRT/is_2005_Oct_24/ai_n15769899 BTB

    very big excavators

If I remember rightly that was a few years ago and Kobelco (who I'm sure made it) based it on a 200t crawler crane or something. At the time I think it was the biggest demo rig in the world but that has now been superseeded by PoN equipment I think who built a 90m rig to go on a CAT 5110B...

    Track-tors?

Used to work for NH dealer here in the UK. Richard is right all those tractors with the bar axles are most likley being exported and looking at the spec I'd say they are headed for the US, possibly with the exception of the last NH in the last pic, note; no bar axle and european tyres. The...

My trip to the local Caterpillar Dealership

People buy from people at the end of the day. If you have no interpersonal skills and give a poor 1st impression to the customer, you could have the best machine in the world but you'd never sell it. BTB

    X for small marina

Have you thought about looking at demolition rigs? Alot of the demo rigs, with fixed reach equipment, over here have a hydraulic/mechanical set up so you can change between high reach and mass excavation booms in minutes. Most are supplied with their own storage and lifting frames as well...

    Hydrema

WOW, where on earth did you find that? What sort of work are you doing/intending doing with it? I used to work for Hydrema UK, we never sold too many M1100s mainly because of their price in face of the comptition. As far as I can remember all the ones we did sell we pretty much heard...

    16M in the Arctic

Suberb pix Randy, real interesting to hear how you cope in that sort of harsh environment. Worlds away from what I've ever done, (kinda jealous as would like to have a go....lol) Anyway, I was thinking, say it did get down to -30 with wind chill down to -60 or whatever. Worst case scenario...
