    My guess would be a bad ground somewhere. Check the relay with power probe or something of that nature. Start grounding alt etc and see if that has ant affect.

    You should have 12.5 volts off, and 14.5 volts running.

    Sounds like you have a bad ground, check and clean both battery post's, maybe also a bad ground cable.

    That doesn't say much...what is the voltage before starting and after starting and running on your meter. The tach could be another story.

    If you see a milky substance in the trans fluid, check or "bypass" the cooler in the front, it's cylindrical looking. Water or anti freeze cools the tranny fluid.

    Had one similar, if you leave it in one gear, like second and use the forward/reverse lever, is there a problem then? Have you checked the trans fluid for contaminant's, those machines had a cooler in the front that were prone to leak and contaminate the trans fluid.

    Have you put a volt meter on the battery to see if it is charging? test the voltage before starting and during.
