    Jcb 520

    I'm looking at an older JCB 520 4x4 loader and can't seem to determine what make engine is in it, anyone know? Anything special to look out for on these machines? This one has super high hours so I would expect to have the engine overhauled. What kind of cost would I be into?

    Steering gear box kaput!

    My Michigan 75A straight frame just developed a steering gear box problem, kind of a snap then would'nt steering left. Managed to get it up the lane and now won't go right. Took the control arm off and if I steer it to either direction and apply pressure to the arm it just crunches it's way...

    Detroit Diesel fuel in crankcase oil

    I'm getting lots of diesel in my crankcase oil on a 3-53 detroit diesel. Injector lines are not leaking, pump seals are good, no coolant in oil, no oil in coolant. About 4 quarts every hour of run time. I shut fuel off at night. Any ideas, leaking injectors maybe? how do I test them?

    Slow movin Michigan Loader

    My Michigan 75 A with 3-71 Detroit is running very well, sounds good, and has good hydrahlic pressure on lift pistons. My complaint with is it has very poor motive power in anything but low range. Any ideas on where to start looking for problems? Filter has been changed.
