    Rolloff vs hooklift truck

Drewster, Found this post and had to reset my password as it has been along time since using the site although I lurk often. 7 years ago I joined the forum to ask similar questions. I had never owned a diesel and had no experience with hooklifts. I now own 5 and all of them get used every day...

Is this a good deal (Hino)

Bins, I added a hino 358 33K single axle with a ampliroll 120 but i still needed something smaller. I bought the F550 for my personal truck and to deliver bins right up to 20 yards but the truth is it handles 75% of what our weights typically are. I needed a plow truck and something for those...

How much aggregate in my MONSTER fill pile?

I am in the process of taking over a piece of heavy industrial land in an urban area. On the site there is a pile of fill that has been estimated at 480,000 truck loads. My question is most people see the pile as a liability but it has been tested and is clean.. But i am trying to find some...

    Hino Trucks

I have the 338 and love the truck, but find that the fuel economy or lack there of is off compared to the hino reputation. We have done 70k in 11 months and no real complaints other than fuel consumption... Bret

Is this a good deal (Hino)

Byron, I have seen hooklifts on trailers, they are actually popular in Europe for farming.I have seen a couple of ampliroll's on trailers locally. But the idea is wrong and practically doesn't work well enough. There are several roll off trailers as well. Your turning radius will be worse than...

Is this a good deal (Hino)

That's a loaded question with allot of possible answers. I think it depends on how you want to work and yes it's a numbers game. I think of these hooklifts as the "swiss army knife" of small business you can do allot with them and make money. What part of Canada are you in? Bret

    ford LCF VS sterling bullet

They say five years so I am guessing 3 years. It's really thick, and it can be patched if I get body work. They say that when removed it will have proteced my paint = as new. If I get three years out of it I will have got my money's worth. 2600 / 36 months = $72 month Look on my...

Eric, I'm in Canada so the pricing is different> I put a Ampliroll 90S which is a short WB (84CA) 13,000pd lift. You would be better to put a 20K lift on the 650. In Canada a 20k lift with fenders, lights, bumper and a toolbox would be aprox 26K. I purchased my first hooklift this time...
